Law firm — Brussels

There is almost always a remedy.

You arrive with a tangled situation: a dismissal, a lease, an invoice, a separation. Our job is to untangle it, and to tell you honestly whether we can help.

First step

Tell us about it. Two minutes, six questions.

In plain language, with no endless form. At the end you know three things: whether it’s for us, whether it’s urgent, and what to prepare. If a deadline might be running, we stop you right away and tell you to call.

The questionnaire needs JavaScript, which seems to be switched off here. No harm done: everything works over the phone too.

Call +32 2 000 00 00 or write to bonjour@recours-avocats.example. Tell us in two sentences what it is about and since when. If you have received a letter with a deadline, say so first.

Our areas: your work, your home, your family, disputes between businesses, your purchases. Criminal, tax, immigration and planning law: not our field, and we will tell you so plainly.

Demonstration: the sorting happens locally, in your browser. Nothing is sent or stored.

Second step

What we take on, put plainly.

No Latin, no article numbers. If your situation looks like one of these sentences, you are in the right place.

Your work

Dismissal, notice periods, unpaid wages, harassment, a contract changed without your agreement.

Your home

Lease, rental deposit, inventory of fixtures, rent, damage, a landlord or tenant who stops replying.

Your family

Separation, where the children live, maintenance, an inheritance getting complicated.

Between businesses

Unpaid invoice, broken contract, a partner blocking things, unfair competition.

Your purchases

Faulty product, refused warranty, a deposit that vanished, a subscription you cannot cancel.

And if it isn’t in there?

Criminal, tax, immigration, planning: we tell you straight away, and point you to who can help. Nobody wastes their time.

Third step

How it works, and what it costs.

You tell us

Through the questionnaire, by phone or in writing. We answer quickly: it’s for us, or it isn’t.

We meet

A first appointment at the firm. You leave knowing where you stand and what is possible.

We agree

A proposed strategy, fees set out in writing before we begin. You decide, never the other way round.

We move forward

You are kept informed at every stage, in clear words. No six-month silences.

Let’s talk fees, honestly.

It’s the question everyone asks and few sites address. The principle: depending on the case, we work by time spent or on a fixed fee. Either way, everything is in writing from the start: how it is calculated, the retainer, what is included.

And if the case changes, we tell you before anything changes. A figure is announced, not discovered on an invoice.

Fourth step

Two lawyers, one clear line.

Portrait of Claire, lawyer at the firm

Claire

Employment · Family

She turns jargon into simple decisions, and never promises what a case cannot deliver.

Portrait of Simon, lawyer at the firm

Simon

Leases · Commercial · Consumer

He prefers a good settlement to a long trial, and a long trial to a bad settlement.
